Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space
Ladies and gentlemen we are floating in space
All I want in life's a little bit of love
To take the pain away
Getting strong today
A giant step each day
All I want in life's a little bit of love
To take the pain away
Getting strong today
A giant step each day
I've been told
Only fools rush in
Only fools rush in
But I don't believe
I don't believe
I could still fall in love with you
I will love you till I die
And I will love you all the time
So please put your sweet hand in mine
And float in space and drift in time
All the time until I die
We'll float in space, just you and I
And I will love you till I die
And I will love you all the time
So please put your sweet hand in mine
And float in space and drift in time
All the time until I die
We'll float in space, just you and I
Baby I love you today
I guess that's what you want
And I don't know where we are all going
Life don't get stranger than this
It is what it is
And I don't know where we are all going
I will love you till I die
And I will love you all the time
Everything happens today
And we're out here in space
And I don't know where we are all going
Baby I love you today
I guess that's what you want
And I don't know where we are all going

Some Things Were Meant To Be
Can't Help Falling In Love
Wise men say, only fools rush in.
But I can't help falling in love with you
Shall I stay?
Would it be a sin?
I can't help falling in love with you
As the river flows gently to the sea
Darling so we go, some things were meant to be
Take my hand take my whole heart too
'Cause i can't help falling in love with you
As the river flows gently to the sea
Darling so we go, some things were meant to be
Take my hand take my whole heart too
'Cause i can't help falling in love with you
**
You guys are extremely curious creatures. Remember, curiosity kills the poor little kitten! Anyway, since you guys are so nice, this one is going out especially for you, those who has been asking since yesterday - laughs.
This is the song I replied to my girlfriend (wife to be). Fools rush in? Not true actually. It took us only three months before we decided to get married (beads of perspire trickled down my temple). We did it and here we are now with two lovely princessess.

Is Here In My Arms

Enjoy The Silence
Words like violence
Break the silence
Come crashing in
Into my little world
Painful to me
Pierce right through me
Can't you understand
Oh my little girl
All I ever wanted
All I ever needed
Is here in my arms
Words are very unnecessary
They can only do harm
Vows are spoken
To be broken
Feelings are intense
Words are trivial
Pleasures remain
So does the pain
Words are meaningless
And forgettable
All I ever wanted
All I ever needed
Is here in my arms
Words are very unnecessary
They can only do harm
**
Ali I ever wanted and all I ever needed is here with me, my enchanting family. My elegant, beautiful, loving, caring and patient wife, the delicate Iman and delightful Erin. They always remain close to my heart and soul.
Wow! suddenly Depeche Mode takes over from here! What a perfect timing. Great words yeah! So guys, silence is golden indeed. Words are simply trivial and unnecessary.

Mysterious Origin

The dZI
dZI (pronounced Zee) is a bead stone of mysterious origin worn with a necklace and sometimes bracelet. Collectively in almost all Asian cultures, the bead is expected to provide positive spiritual benefit. They are generally prized as protective amulets. Dzi stones may have made their first appearance between 2000 BC to 1000 BC, in ancient India. Fear of the “Evil eye” was taken very seriously by these people, so they created talismans with “eyes” on them as a “fight fire with fire” form of protection.
The meaning of the word "dZi" translates to "shine, brightness, clearness, splendor". In Traditional Chinese, the bead is called "heaven's bead" or "heaven's pearl". Such beads were etched black-and-white or brown-and-white, with symbols comprised of circles, ovals, square, waves stripes, lines and various other symbolic patterns.
To the Tibetans, each of these symbols represents a specific meaning. They are precious possession to the Tibetan, with so many fascinating stories of its mystical power attributed to it. dZi beads play an important role in Tibetan culture. Tibetans believe dZi beads to possess the power to bring about good influence associated with protection, prosperity, attracting wealth, fostering good health and ward against evil. These beads were etched dating back a few thousand years ago.
While the origin surrounding Dzi beads are quite uncertain, it is socially accepted today that they are called "Tibetan beads". They are found primarily in Tibet, but also in neighbouring Bhutan, Ladakh and Sikkim. Shepherds and farmers pick them up in the grasslands or while cultivating fields. Because dZi are found in the earth, Tibetans cannot conceive of them as man-made. Since knowledge of the bead is derived from oral traditions, few beads have provoked more controversy concerning their source, method of manufacture and even precise definition. In Tibetan culture they are believed to attract protector deities.
Two Eyes Bead
Ying-Yang speaks of the important of balance and harmony. The symbol of two eyes represents Generation and Completion. As there are two sides to a coin, and various views to a situation, two eye bead remind us of the importance of balance which bring about harmony. There is seldom a situation, which is absolutely good/bad or right/wrong. It takes effort to built harmony among people, and the reward can be great. In particular, salesman and negotiators will find a two eyes bead meaningful. Balanced views, harmony, cooperation, peaceful settlement are what the symbol of two eyes represents.
**
I'm a proud owner of a genuine 'two eyes' piece of dZI given to me as a gift from a monk 'friend'. Have forgotten about it until recently. Had it many years back, maybe 10 years or so. Now it's safely hung around my neck for good (from September 1 2007) to bring the charm back in me after so long! Its not too late still. May it brings balance, harmony and put it's magical power to play.

I Haven't Felt So Alive In Years

But Not Tonight
Oh god, its raining
But I'm not complaining
It's filling me up
With new life
The stars in the sky
Bring tears to my eyes
They're lighting my way
Tonight
And I haven't felt so alive
In years
Just for a day
On a day like today
I'll get away from this
Constant debauchery
The wind in my hair
Makes me so aware
How good it is to live
Tonight
And I haven't felt so alive
In years
The moon
Is shining in the sky
Reminding me
Of so many other nights
But they're not like tonight
Oh god, its raining
And I'm not containing
My pleasure at being
So wet
Here on my own
All on my own
How good it feels to be alone
Tonight
And I haven't felt so alive
In years
The moon
Is shining in the sky
Reminding me
Of so many other nights
When my eyes have been so red
I've been mistaken for dead
But not tonight
**
I honestly haven't felt so alive in years. The endless rain has washed away the past. Almost two years to be exact. Yet, at the start of this month, a new life evolves, a new spirit grew inside me. The feeling is great again. I can feel it deep down my nerves and bloodstream. I'm so alive. The 'new morning' which I have been waiting for for such a long time is here again after such a long disappearance. Here I am standing with spirits high up in the atmosphere. I'm floating indeed. bringme down. Help! Help! Haha.
Now the words come from a quad who named themselves after a fashion magazine! The guys who brought me many friends and happy moments during my secondary school days. Not forgetting my good ol' friend, Adrian Tan from polytechnic whom I dicovered shared the same passion as I do. Let's hear it, presenting Depeche Mode with the best b-side ever created!

Here We Go

Shiny Happy People
Shiny happy people laughing
Meet me in the crowd
People, people
Throw your love around
Love me, love me
Take it into town
Happy, happy
Put it in the ground
Where the flowers grow
Gold and silver shine
Shiny happy people holding hands
Shiny happy people holding hands
Shiny happy people laughing
Everyone around
Love them, love them
Put it in your hands
Take it, take it
There's no time to cry
Happy, happy
Put it in your heart
Where tomorrow shines
Gold and silver shine
Hey, here we go!
**
To all my friends out there, may you shine like the stars, like the shiny happy people. Let's get down and have fun. It's a month of celebration.
I've lost another kilograms! Hooray! Fitter and stronger each day.

I've Found You

For The First Time
Are those your eyes, is that your smile
I've been lookin at you forever
But I never saw you before
Are these your hands holdin' mine
Now I wonder how I could of been so blind
For the first time I am looking in your eyes
For the first time I'm seein' who you are
I can't believe how much I see
When you're lookin back at me
Now I understand why love is.......
Love is.....for the first time.....
Can this be real, can this be true
Am I the person I was this morning
And are you the same you
It's all so strange how can it be
All along this love was right in front of me
For the first time I am looking in your eyes
For the first time I'm seein who you are
I can't believe how much I see
When you're lookin back at me
Now I understand why love is.......
Love is.....for the first time.....
Such a long time ago
I had given up on findin' this emotion..ever again
But you live with me now
Yes I've found you some how
And I've never been so sure
And for the first time I am looking in your eyes
For the first time I'm seein' who you are
Can't believe how much I see
When you're lookin back at me
Now I understand why love is.......
Love is.....for the first time.....

Something sweet, nice and more meaningful to you guys. This is the song my wife (then girlfriend) dedicated to me when she met me again after a week break for her holidays with her friends.
I have been out with her twice before she had to go for her planned trip. When she got back, I got a page (an equipment of the past!) and she asked me out again! I replied her page and she eventually picked up the phone, called me up and asked me out for dinner.
We went to East Coast Park for dinner that night, packed some food and had dinner by the beach! Ohhhh! How I missed it.
One song which I can't simply just forget so easily. It brings a smile to me this morning when putting this up.
September is here finally, the most 'charming' month of the year. The month that I have been waiting for all year round. It is indeed my turn now. Time to celebrate and breathe a new life in me. The Earth will be revolving for the 33rd year in my life. Not too many a times many would say but enough to rekindle the memories of the years that I have spent on God's land.

Plastic People With Imaginary Smiles
Love Is Dead
Nothing ever goes right, nothing really flows in my life
No one really cares if no one ever shares my bed
People push by with fear in their eyes in my life
Love is dead
Love is dead
The telephone rings but no one ever thinks to speak to me
Traffic speeds by but no one's ever stopped it yet
Intelligent friends don't care in the end, believe me
Love is dead
Love is dead
And plastic people with imaginary smiles
Exchanging secrets at the back of their minds
Plastic people, plastic people
Nothing ever goes right, nothing really flows in my life
No one really cares if there's horrors inside my head
People push by with fear in their eyes in my life
Love is dead
Love is dead
Love is dead
Love is dead
And all the lies that you've given us
And all the things that you said
And all the lies that you've given us
Blow like wind in my head
**
Guys, there are many twists and turns in life. There are ups and downs, mistakes and more mistakes. We must prevail and be strong to take the next leap in life. Brett's been down too, up to now I supposed. The album is dark just like he himself and that includes me. Always remember that it's what life is all about. I've leave you with these words "Intelligent friends don't care in the end, believe me."

Love In Her Eyes

My Dark Star
In a hired car she will come to England from the sea
And as the tide flows the London snows will come.
And from the skyline shines the lies of the government's singular history
So in a hired world she will buy a gun
And she will come from India with a love in her eyes
That say oh how my dark star will rise
In rented gear 2000 years we waited for a man
But with a tattoed tit she'd die for us all tonight.
And she will come from India with a gun at her side,
Or she will come from Argentina
With her cemetery eyes that say
Oh, how my dark star will rise,
and she will rise.
**
I was thinking of ending this blog of mine (many must have find this blog all confusing and lost). However, I was surprised when people come to see me, including those via sms and msn telling me why I should not stop this from moving further another mile. Well guys, I'm doing this especially for you out there. May this ever be meaningful for you and may your dark star rise...
This is the same title for my blog. A song which i truly love so much up to now. It needs no introduction this time. Let's continue this spiritual journey from here.
Yes, India has always been one of the places my wife and I want to be at. Regardless of Kula Shaker or not. And there's where I'll see her love in her eyes. Here it comes.

Like Oceans We Drift Away

Oceans
We sit in silence
A marriage license
Is all you know
All you know, all you know
We sit and chew gum
Watch television
And you know
And you know, and you know
But there's oceans between us
Light years that screen us
Oceans that drift away
Oceans that fade to grey
We sit and rot here
Resenting each year
Will you go?
Will you go, will you go?
We sing the old songs
The beat box plays on
And you know
And you know, and you know
But there's oceans between us
Light years that screen us
Like oceans we drift away
Like oceans we fade to grey
Between us there's oceans
There's life in slow motion
Quietly we drift away
Quietly we fade to grey
**
As far as you and I are concerned, Suede changed the rules of pop music and everyone else just followed. When they formed around 1991, "independent" music was something to be sidelined not celebrated - bands released EPs and gazed at their feet and being successful didn't come into it.
Indeed, while they may have spurned Britpop, their cultural impact is of a far greater significance, they represent nothing more or less than the voice of disaffected youth.
**This is where the story ends. It has finally ended and it has to end. The story has been told. See you in the next life.

The Truth May Come In Strange Disguises

Tattva
Tattva, Acintya Bheda Bheda Tattva
Like The Flower And The Scent Of Summer,
Like The Sun And The Shine,
Well The Truth May Come In Strange Disguises
Send The Message To Your Mind.
Tattva, Acintya Bheda Bheda Tattva
At The Moment That You Wake From Sleeping
And You Know Its All A Dream,
Well The Truth May Come In Strange Disguises
Never Knowing What It Means.
Tattva, Acintya Bheda Bheda Tattva
For You Shall Be Tomorrow,
Like You Have Been Today,
If This Was Never Ending,
What More Can You Say?
**
Tattva is a Sanskrit word meaning 'thatness', 'principle', 'reality' or 'truth'.
So, here is where the truth lies. One more post to the 77th and one more truth to the world of humankind which which will eventually wrap the final chapter for the month of August.
Time to chant 'Tattva' with Crispian and Kula Shaker for now. Be mesmerised by the words, which is considered to be the supreme reality and to have the ultimate meaning and value of existence.
May the light shines the dark pathway. May the dark star sparkles the night sky. May the disguise be revealed.
The time is up. The final revelation at midnight in one more night. One more night is what I need.
Let the journey ends where a large body of water constituting a principal part of the hydrosphere is. Let the leather with a soft napped surface concludes what needs to be affirmed. No one else but them. Just them.

I'm Still Around
Golden Glades
Your mind is strong
but your will is weak
And it's no wonder
you can't stand
on your own two feet
The past is gone
you can't call it back
That's no reason
for you to paint it black
All said and done
There is no one
who can turn your love to hate
Meet him head on
but I'm still around
And it's no wonder
I can't tell if I'm up or down
The feelings gone
I can't get it back
But that's no reason
for you to stab my back
When all is love
There's only one
who can free your mind of hate
More things to think about. More stuffs to ponder. The world just makes me spin and turns me in circles.

You Could Be The One

Unintended
You could be my unintended
Choice to live my life extended
You could be the one
I'll always love
You could be the one who listens to my deepest inquisitions
You could be the one
I'll always love
I'll be there as soon as I can
But I'm busy mending broken pieces of the life I had before
First there was the one who challenged
All my dreams and all my balance
She could never be as good as you
You could be my unintended
Choice to live my life extended
You should be the one I'll always love
I'll be there as soon as I can
But I'm busy mending broken pieces of the life I had before
I'll be there as soon as I can
But I'm busy mending broken pieces of the life I had before
Before you
**
A hard choice but this is really 'Unintended'. The third of the last has been born.
I just can't go to sleep tonight. The surrounding atmosphere in here just drags me away. Here I am... as the clouds turn dark and the promises that the rain will bring. I'll just sit and wait for it to happen. I'm tucked at the corner of my computer room where it's so lovely.
The morning dewdrops has finally arrived to wet the lovely morning. I haven't had any sleep. Another day has arrived, the previous has quit and turned its back. It's 6.19am. The silent morning has proven that it is never trivial and forgettable.
**
If you have the time, listen to 'Untitled' which can be found over the left hand side of the blog under the same heading (Suede is waiting @Oslo Club and will do a 'live' for you.
Perhaps, you might prefer 'Song For The Siren' instead which can be found if u click at my 'Profile' page audio clip. Two different beautiful song clips with the same intent.
I'm sure it'll make your day a brighter one. Thank you for floating in this magical place once again. May we fly like the colourful butterflies amongst the wild flowers.

You're Always Brilliant In The Morning

Foolish Games
You took your coat off and stood in the rain,
You're always crazy like that.
And I watched from my window,
Always felt I was outside looking in on you.
You're always the mysterious one with
Dark eyes and careless hair,
You were fashionably sensitive
But too cool to care.
You stood in my doorway, with nothing to say
Besides some comment on the weather
Well in case you failed to notice,
In case you failed to see,
This is my heart bleeding before you,
This is me down on my knees, and
These foolish games are tearing me apart,
And your thoughtless words are breaking my heart.
You're breaking my heart.
You're always brilliant in the morning,
Smoking your cigarettes and talking over coffee.
Your philosophies on art, Baroque moved you.
You loved Mozart and you'd speak of your loved ones
As I clumsily strummed my guitar.
You'd teach me of honest things,
Things that were daring, things that were clean.
Things that knew what an honest dollar did mean.
I hid my soiled hands behind my back.
Somewhere along the line,
I must've gone Off track with you
Well, excuse me, guess I've mistaken you for somebody else,
Somebody who gave a damn,
Somebody more like myself.
You took your coat off,
Stood in the rain,
You're always crazy like that.
**
It's Jewel, the precious sylph at work! The way she utters 'You're always brilliant in morning ...' is so awww.... it can instantaneously turns a stone into dusts.
Well, I'm at magical number 74 now. 3 more posts to go before the end of he month of August to make it end at an inexplicable 77. Watch for the next three most beautiful words to appear here soon. One each day to curtain this month which was full of surprises, sadness and well as joy.
It doesn't end there. I had a foreknowledge that a 'Karma' is about to happen. Just earlier today, one after another of the words that appeared here was heard at different places and locations. It ended after the sixth one was heard!
The explanation of karma can differ per tradition. Usually it is believed to be a sum of all that an individual has done, is currently doing and will do. The results or "fruits" of actions are called karma-phala. Karma is not about retribution, vengeance, punishment or reward; karma simply deals with what is. The effects of all deeds actively create past, present and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one's own life, and the pain and joy it brings to others.
The first that brush through my ears was 'You're Beautiful'. 'Life In Mono' comes next. Then it was turn for 'Dreams' and then 'Everybody's Changing'. I was already in awe by then.
What followed me back home was 'Don't Look Back In Anger' and finally 'Tender' over my television set! Truly extraordinary. How could six of the rarest songs be heard all in a day? It made me gasped for air for a moment. What's next? I am ready and waiting patiently. Six down and hopefully the seventh heaven will take precedence. I cross my fingers for the good things to come.
This just isn't another blog. It's truly magical like it is supposed to be. If you can fathom the message, then it's great. Otherwise, you need more spiritual energy to get in here.

I Hide It Really Well

I Don't Want to Get Hurt
In everything I see you appear with me,
How come? How come?
And everything I do involves you too.
We are like one.
In my life there has been so many changes and I don't want to be left out in the rain
I don't want to get hurt, I've done my time.
All I want from you is to tell the truth.
I don't want to get hurt no more this time.
I don't want to go blind and find it's falling apart all the time
In the middle of a dream you are there for me, your face, your lips.
But there's no way you can tell cos I hide it really well, so well.
In my life there has been loving and lying and I don't need another reason to cry
I don't want to get hurt.
I don't want to go blind and find I'm falling apart one more time.

The Scent Of Magic

Listen To To Your Heart
I know there's something in the wake of your smile
I get a notion from the look in your eyes, yeah
You've built a love but that love falls apart
Your little piece of heaven turns to dark
Listen to your heart
when he's calling for you
Listen to your heart
There's nothing else you can do
I don't know where you're going
And I don't know why
But listen to your heart
Before you tell him goodbye
Sometimes you wonder if this fight is worthwhile
The precious moments are all lost in the tide, yeah
They're swept away and nothing is what it seems
The feeling of belonging to your dreams
Listen to your heart
When he's calling for you
Listen to your heart
There's nothing else you can do
I don't know where you're going
And I don't know why
But listen to your heart
Before you tell him goodbye
And there are voices
That want to be heard
So much to mention
But you can't find the words
The scent of magic
The beauty that's been
When love was wilder than the wind
Listen to your heart
When he's calling for you
Listen to your heart
There's nothing else you can do
I don't know where you're going
And I don't know why
But listen to your heart
Before you tell him goodbye
**
The first Roxette song that I listen to and it captured me like a plastic sheet. I'm stuck to it.

The Sound Is All Gone

A Thing About You
I pick up the phone
I'm dialing your number
While I pray you're at home
At home and alone
'Cuz I can't function on my own
And I'll never stop believing?
The reaping is done
You are the one
The radio is on but the sound is all gone
And I wanna walk out in the sun
But lately that's been very hard to do
I've got a thing about you
And I don't really know what to do
'Cuz I've got a thing about you
Hey you
I pick up the phone
I'm dialing that number
And my heart like a stone
Waits for the tone
Oh I can't make it on my own
And I'll never stop believing?
I know what is right and this is so wrong
Alone in my bed, better off on my own
The TV is on but the colors are gone
And lately you've been painting my world blue
I've got a thing about you
And I don't really care what you do
I've got a thing about you
Yeah, you I've got a thing about you
I've got a thing about you
Lately you've been painting my world blue
I've got a thing about you
And I don't really know what to do
I've got a thing about you
Hoping this story cuts through

Washed By The Rain

Fading Like A Flower
In a time where the sun descends alone,
I ran a long long way from home to find a heart that's made of stone.
I will try, I just need a little time to get your face right out of my mind,
to see the world through different eyes.
Every time I see you oh I try to hide away but when we meet it seems I can't let go.
Every time you leave the room I feel I'm fading like a flower.
Tell me why?
When I scream there's no reply, when I reach out there's nothing to find,
when I sleep I break down and cry.
Every time I see you oh I try to hide away but when we meet it seems I can't let go.
Every time you leave the room I feel I'm fading like a flower.
Fading like a rose, fading like a rose, beaten by the storm,
talking to myself, getting washed by the rain, it's such a cold cold town.
Every time I see you oh I try to hide away but when we meet it seems I can't let go.
Every time you leave the room I feel I'm fading like a flower.

The Ghost I Love The Most

Tender
Tender is the night
Lying by your side
Tender is the touch
Of someone that you love too much
Tender is the day
The demons go away
Lord I need to find
Someone who can heal my mind
Come on, Come on, Come on
Get through it
Come on, Come on, Come on
Love's the greatest thing
Come on, Come on, Come on
Get through it
Come on, Come on, Come on
Love's the greatest thing
That we have
I'm waiting for that feeling
I'm Waiting for that feeling
Waiting for that feeling to come
Oh my baby
Oh my baby
Oh why
Oh my
Tender is the ghost
The ghost I love the most
Hiding from the sun
Waiting for the night to come
Tender is my heart
I'm screwing up my life
Lord I need to find
Someone who can heal my mind
Come on, Come on, Come on
Get through it
Come on, Come on, Come on
Love's the greatest thing
Come on, Come on, Come on
Get through it
Come on, Come on, Come on
Love's the greatest thing
That we have
I'm waiting for that feeling
I'm Waiting for that feeling
Waiting for that feeling to come
Tender is the night
Lying by your side
Tender is the touch
Of someone that you love too much
Tender is my heart you know
I'm screwing up my life
Oh Lord I need to find
Someone who can heal my mind
Come on, Come on, Come on

It Doesn't Help Me

She's So High
I see her face
Everyday
I see her face
It doesn't help me
She's so high
She's so high
I want to crawl all over her
I think of her
EverydayI think of her
It doesn't help me
She's so high
She's so high
I want to crawl all over her
She doesn't help

Never Fade Away

Starlight
Far away
This ship has taken me far away
Far away from the memories
Of the people who care if I live or die
Starlight
I will be chasing a starlight
Until the end of my life
I don't know if it's worth it anymore
Hold you in my arms
I just wanted to hold you in my arms
My life
You electrify my life
Let's conspire to re-ignite
All the souls that would die just to feel alive
I'll never let you go
If you promise not to fade away
Never fade away
Our hopes and expectations
Black holes and revelations
Our hopes and expectations
Black holes and revelations
Hold you in my arms
I just wanted to hold you in my arms
Far away
The ship has taken me far away
Far away from the memories
Of the people who care if I live or die
I'll never let you go
If you promise not to fade away
Never fade away
Our hopes and expectations
Black holes and revelations
Our hopes and expectations
Black holes and revelations
Hold you in my arms
I just wanted to hold you in my arms
I just wanted to hold

I'm An Air Sign

Sleeping Pills
Angel, don't take those sleeping pills,
you don't need them
Though it's just time they kill
Angel, give me your sleeping pills,
you don't need them
Give me the time they kill
You're a water sign, I'm an air sign
Gone gone to Valium, can you get me some?
You're a water sign, and I'm an air sign
Too Siamese to catch the leaves from those trees
Angel, don't take those sleeping pills,
you don't need them
Though it's just time they kill
You're a water sign, I"m an air sign
Pumped up with Valium, could you get me some?
You're a water sign, I'm an air sign
With sweet F.A. to do today,
With sweet F.A. to do today
Angel, don't take those sleeping pills
**
Yes, I'm an air sign.
According to astrological theory, air signs are the talkers and communicators of the zodiac. Typically they are supposed to be intellectual, analytical, articulate, and versatile – able to discuss just about any topic. Air signs are also seen as the masters of social graces because they enjoy socialising and are very good at "small talk."
They are often seen as so objective that they are unable to be practical and realistic. At worst, air signs are supposed to be so changeable they will not stay anywhere for any length of time, and so restless they have trouble with serious concentration on any single job they might be required to carry out. Air signs' role is seen as providing the ideas that make the future different from the past, whereas fire signs carry out the actions necessary for this.
In human relationships, air signs are said to be gregarious and extroverted, often attracting friends very willingly and easily with their charm and ability to communicate. However, air signs are believed to be lacking in passion and unable to form strong, lasting relationships; astrologers believe few air sign people are able to have a single marriage, for they are said to be as apt to try out new people as new ideas.
Air signs are also thought to be extremely lacking in emotional depth because they tend to intellectualise their feelings and generally want to avoid difficult obstacles that might be needed to hold a partnership together.
Air signs are seen as complementary to fire signs because they provide the ideas that allow the fire signs to carry out their action. However, it is often thought that fire signs are too flagrant and impatient for the air signs to tolerate permanently. Air signs are supposed to more or less understand earth signs because they share a basically rational nature. However, whilst air signs are supposed to admire earth signs' will to achieve, they supposedly find them too timid, pessimistic, undemonstrative, and cautious, and the earth signs, though attracted by the air signs' unique thoughts, find them overwhelmingly unrealistic and flippant.
Water signs are believed to be much too passionate and emotionally deep for air signs' flighty, flirtatious nature; indeed, astrology believes air signs hate water signs as too subjective, secretive, and illogical. For their part water signs supposedly deride air signs as emotionally shallow, excessively concerned with worldly pleasure, and uncaring towards others.
However, air signs will find themselves most compatible with fire signs, who share the similar traits of being positive, extroverted, outgoing, and fun-loving. Fire signs may not be as intelligent or rational as air signs, as air signs may not be as passionate or controlling as fire signs, but they can generally adapt to each other's ways, and find they have a lot of different traits to offer in fulfilling one another.

The Choice Is Yours

Come As You Are
Come as you are, as you were,
As I want you to be
As a friend, as a friend,
as an old enemy
Take your time, hurry up
The choice is yours, don't be late
Take a rest as a friend
as an old memoria
Come dowsed in mud, soaked in bleach
As I want you to be
As a trend, as a friend,
as an old memoria
And I swear that I don't have a gun
No I don't have a gun

The Exotic, Mystic And Mystery
Second Sight
The Rāmāyana had an important influence on later Sanskrit poetry, primarily through its establishment of the Sloka meter. But, like its epic cousin Mahabharata, the Rāmāyana is not just an ordinary story. It contains the teachings of ancient Hindu sages and presents them through allegory in narrative and the interspersion of the philosophical and the devotional. The characters of Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, Bharata, Hanuman and Rāvana (the villain of the piece) are all fundamental to the cultural consciousness of India.
The teachings of the Hindu religion or Hindu Dharma is to reach peace and harmony in life guided by the Wedas as Holy Scriptures. Hindu Dharma is a special blend of Hinduism, Buddhism and ancestor worship that has been flourishing over the centuries.
The believe in the Trimurti consists of:
Brahma, the creator
Wisnu or Vishnu, the preserver
Ciwa or Shiva, the destroyer

The search for a spiritual insight is here again. After much planning and delay, I've decided to sit back and relax and enjoy the breeze in motion. It must be music again which brings me to my next destination.
A mile after another I've walked in the streets. Temples of everlasting light I have seen. From the ancient Wat Po to the sacred four-faced Buddha, they never fail to thrill me. The journey continues to another part of Asia where Hinduism takes over.
Bring on George Harrison, Ravi Shankar, Lata Mangeshkar or even Kula Shaker and they will tell you how Hinduism fascinates them and their faith in the religion. The epic Ramayana and Hanoman, they'll tell you a story.
India it will not be this time. I'm not finished with the Golden Avatar as yet. Let the spirit of the Gods sip inside of you! Hare Krshna!

Seems Like There's A Hole In My Dreams

Elephant Stone
Burst into heaven
Kiss in the cotton clouds
Arctic sheets and fields of wheat
I can't stop coming down
Your shrunken head
Looking down on me above
Send me home like an elephant stone
To smash my dream of love
Dreaming till the sun goes down
And night turns into day
Rooms are empty I've got plenty
You move in right away
Seems like there's a hole
In my dreams
In my dreams
In my dreams
Down through the heavens
Choke on the cotton clouds
Arctic sheets and fields of wheat
I can't stop coming down
Your shrunken head
Looking down on me above
Send me home like an elephant stone
To smash my dream of love
Didn't your bed and bookshelf go
And run run run away
These four walls saw the rise and fall
And your midnight getaway
Seems like there's a hole
In my dreams
Or so it seems
Yet nothing means anything
Anymore

A whopping pike i no longer am! Shedding over 2.5kg over a month is definitely something I have never ever achieved in any months even with that little bit of extra pulling, tugging and pushing. I don't prespire and not a bead of sweat trickled down my skin!
All of a sudden, I'm feeling lighter, better and never hungry. Breakfast and lunch is a nice hot cup of milo in a special tiger mug of mine, 2 packets of creamy milo chocs in boiling hot water. Dinner is definitely a NO NO with no questions asked! I survived and am still alive!
The great weekend was over. The waves of Asian Dub Foundation riffs still play in my head. How much i miss Womad! My sugarspun sister was all cool! Nice knowing Chloe too. The naan' was tempta-licios. Just that I had no appetite for such things anymore. Till we meet again for another cup of coffee sipping or was it lime?

Hanging On To Hope

Praying For Time
These are the days of the open hand
They will not be the last
Look around now
These are the days of the beggars
And the choosers
This is the year of the hungry man
Whose place is in the past
Hand in hand with ignorance
And legitimate excuses
The rich declare themselves poor
And most of us are not sure
If we have too much
But well take our chances
Because God stopped keeping score
I guess somewhere along the way
He must have let us all out to play
Turned his back and all gods children
Crept out the back door
And its hard to love,
Theres so much to hate
Hanging on to hope
Then there is no hope to speak of
And the wounded skies above
Say its much too late
Well maybe we should all be
Praying for time
These are the days of the empty hand
Oh you hold on to what you can
And charity is a coat you wear
Twice a year
This is the year of the guilty man
Your television takes a stand
And you find that what was over there
Is over here
So you scream from behind your door
Say whats mine is mine and not yours
I may have too much
But Ill take my chances
Because God stopped keeping score
And you cling to the things
They sold you
Did you cover your eyes when
They told you
That he cant come back
Because he has no children
To come back for

Youth Has No Age

Guernica
It is modern art's most powerful antiwar statement, created by the twentieth century's most well-known and least understood artist. But the mural called Guernica is not at all what Pablo Picasso has in mind when he agrees to paint the centerpiece for the Spanish Pavilion of the 1937 World's Fair.
**
Pablo Picasso's Quotes
"Everything you can imagine is real."
"To draw you must close your eyes and sing."
"I do not seek. I find."
"I'd like to live as a poor man with lots of money."
"It takes a long time to become young."
"Others have seen what is and asked why. I have seen what could be and asked why not."

I Could Have Stayed At Home

Something Changed
I wrote the song two hours before we met.
I didn't know your name or what you looked like yet.
Oh I could have stayed at home and gone to bed.
I could have gone to see a film instead.
You might have changed your mind and seen your friends.
Life could have been very different then but something changed.
Do you believe that there's someone up above?
Does he have a timetable directing acts of love?
Why did I write this song on that day?
Why did you touch my hand and softly say.
Stop asking questions that don't matter anyway.
Just give us a kiss to celebrate here today something changed.
When we woke up that morning we had no way of knowing.
That in a matter of hours we'd change the way we were going.
Where would I be now if we'd never met.
Would I be singing this song to someone else instead?
I dunno, but like you said something changed.

I'm As Lost As You Are
Godspeed
My name is Mary-Anne
But they all call me Frances
I saw the coast was clear
Do you mind me being near?
I've seen faces in high places
Messing up for good
Say what am I doing here
What am I doing here?
What say you're feeling meek
Saw the writing on the wall
Feel sad and blue
Paradise is close at hand
In images of elsewhere
I've seen faces in high places
Messing up big style
I log on for company
My ISP comforts me
Goodbye Godspeed
I can't give you what you need
If I've sounded distant thus far
It's cos' I'm as lost as you are
Paradise is close at hand
In images of elsewhere
Goodbye Godspeed
I can't give you what you need
If I've sounded distant thus far
It's cos' I'm as lost as you are
Goodbye Godspeed
I can't give you what you need
If I've sounded distant thus far
It's cos' I'm as lost as you are

Whatever Makes Her Happy

Saturday Night
Today,
she's been working,
she's been talking,
she's been smoking,
but it'll be alright,
Cos tonight we'll go dancing,
we'll go laughing,
we'll get car sick,
and it'll be okay like everyone says,
it'll be alright and ever so nice,
We're going out tonight,
out and about tonight.
Oh, whatever makes her happy on a Saturday night,
Oh, whatever makes her happy, whatever makes it alright.
Today,
she's been sat there,
sat there in a black chair, office furniture,
but it'll be alright,
Cos tonight we'll go drinking,
we'll do silly things,
and never let the winter in,
And it'll be okay like everyone says,
it'll be alright and ever so nice,
We're going out tonight,
out and about tonight,
Oh, whatever makes her happy on a Saturday night,
Oh, whatever makes her happy,
whatever makes it alright.
we'll go to peepshows and freak shows,
We'll go to discos, casinos,
We'll go where people go and let go.
Oh whatever makes her happy.
**
It's gonna be Saturday night again tomorrow. I can't wait for it to happen! Let's do some partying!

I'll Be Your Wild Flower
Will you be my lover?
Will you be the one?
Will you be like no other
For how long?
Oh yes I'll be your wild flower
Grown through the concrete
And born to the backbeat of the stars
And yes i'm just a stupid guy
Crushed like a butterfly
Dead-eyed at the drive-by
In a car
And like flies on a windscreen
And like insects in glue
We could stick together
If you wanted to
And yes I'll be your wild flower
Grown through the concrete sheets
And born to the backbeat of the stars
And I'm just a stupid guy
Crushed like a butterfly
Dead-eyed at the drive-by
In a car
Yeah just a stupid guy
Crushed like a butterfly
Dead-eyed at the drive-by
In a car

The song one that I kept playing again and again wherever I am these days. It seems to get me in the string of things. The one that speaks of the new morning. I simply adores it. It still is playing in my empty stomach this very moment.
So very enchanting and enigmatic. It's even titled 'Untitled'. How smarter can Brett and the guys get. Let the irresistable entertain your soul.

Hope
When Prometheus stole fire from heaven, Zeus took vengeance by presenting Pandora to Epimethus, Prometheus' brother. With her, Pandora had a jar which she was not to open under any circumstance. Impelled by her natural curiosity, Pandora opened the jar, and all evil contained escaped and spread over the earth. She hastened to close the lid, but the whole contents of the jar had escaped, except for one thing which lay at the bottom, and that was Hope.

Durvasas

Crispian Reading From The Mahabharata
Once, the sage Durvasas came to the capital of Kuntibhoja. He was famed throughout the world for his pennants and meditations. He wanted to spend a few days with the king. The princess Kunti had been appointed by her father to attend to the wants of the sage.
Indeed, the sage was so pleased with her that he wanted to grant her a boon. He summoned her to his presence and told her that he would teach her a certain incantation. If she recited it, any Deva whom she thought of would come to her. She received the gift with the humility becoming the daughter of a king, and Durvasas went away.
The child - she was hardly a girl - did not understand what Durvasas meant when he said that "the heavenly being whom she invoked would come to her". She was as excited as a child with a new toy.
It was early in the morning. Through the Eastern window she could see the Sun just rising. The East was drenched in the colour of liquid gold. The waters of the river were lapping against the walls of the palace. It was an unforgettable scene. The Sun and his soft beams - beams which had the coolness of the dawn - and the beautiful river with her path glowing with the red and gold of the rising Sun. The scene touched the heart of the young girl. She lost herself in the beauty of that majestic vision. Kunti thought how wonderful it would be if the Sun could be there by her side. In a flash she remembered the mantra which the great Durvasas had taught her. Why, if she recited it the Sun would come to her.
Yes, that was the way he said. He would come to her. The poor child, in blissful ignorance, held her palms together, palms that looked like a lotus bud, and invoked the Sun with the incantation she had learnt.
She opened her eyes - a miracle was happening. Along the watery path of the river, the Sun's rays travelled fast. She was blinded by a sudden brilliance. And then Surya, the Sun God, stood by her side. He stood looking at her with a smile of teasing amusement.
Kunti was now extremely pleased with the success of her incantation. She smiled a sweet, happy smile. “Sage Durvasas said it would work,” she said. “I stood looking at you rising in the East. The scene was so beautiful and you were so beautiful that I wanted you to come here. So I recited the incantation which had taught me by the Sage. You have come - how wonderful!”
The Sun was still smiling. He said “Now that I have come, what do you want me to do?” “Why, nothing,” said Kunti. “I just thought of you and imagined how wonderful it would be if you were here beside me, that is all.” “That is not all,” said the Deva. “It is evident that you did not find any meaning in the words of the Sage when he taught you the incantation. He said that any God whom you invoked would come to you, is that not so?” “Yes,” said the princess, not following his words at all. “Can you not see” said the God, that it means that the God will embrace you and give you a son as beautiful as the God whom you have summoned.”
The princess was bewildered. She did not know what to do or what to say. “I did not know it!” she said. “I had no idea that the words meant this!” Please, forgive me this childishness! Please, go away and save me from shame!” “But that is impossible,” said the God. “Once I am summoned by you I cannot go back until I take you. You must have me. You cannot escape the power of the mantra which you have used unthinkingly.”

The Mahābhārata (Devanagari: महाभारत) is one of the two major Sanskrit epics of ancient India, the other being the Ramayana.
With more than 74,000 verses, long prose passages, and about 1.8 million words in total, it is one of the longest epic poems in the world. Including the Harivamsa, the Mahabharata has a total length of more than 90,000 verses.

I Guess I'd Like To Be Alone

Luka
My name is Luka
I live on the second floor
I live upstairs from you
Yes I think you've seen me before
If you hear something late at night
Some kind of trouble.
some kind of fight
Just don't ask me what it was
Just don't ask me what it was
Just don't ask me what it was
I think it's because I'm clumsy
I try not to talk too loud
Maybe it's because I'm crazy
I try not to act too proud
They only hit until you cry
And after that you don't ask why
You just don't argue anymore
You just don't argue anymore
You just don't argue anymore
Yes I think I'm okay
I walked into the door again
Well, if you ask that's what I'll say
And it's not your business anyway
I guess I'd like to be alone
With nothing broken, nothing thrown
Just don't ask me how I am
Just don't ask me how I am
Just don't ask me how I am

Menthol And Eucalyptus

James Lofthouse
Fisherman's Friend were originally developed by a young pharmacist called James Lofthouse in 1865 to relieve various respiratory problems suffered by fishermen working in the extreme conditions of the Icelandic deep-sea fishing grounds.
Originally developed as an extremely strong liquid remedy containing menthol and eucalyptus oil, Lofthouse made this liquid into small lozenges which were easier to transport and to administer. According to the manufacturer, the fishermen soon began to refer to the lozenges as their "friends", hence the name.
The lozenges exist in their current form relatively unchanged since their creation. The lozenges still come in their famous paper packets, although these are now foil-lined.
**
My ever 'faithful' lemon friend. Pop it day in, day out. Feel better each time you speak. Brings the confidence in you. The menthol and eucalyptus just melts me away.
I'm addicted to it for sure. Let's get down to the lofthouse where many friends awaits. It's freezing in my mouth now. I have a pack. Want some?

Ingenue

From someone else’s dream
The leaves began to fall
And no one spoke at all
When you came along
Ingenue
Ingenue
I just don't know what to do
The tree-lined avenue
Begins to fade from view
Drowning past regrets
In tea and cigarettes
But I can't seem to forget
Then you came along
Ingenue
Ingenue
Ingenue
I just don't know what to do
Ingenue
I just don't know what to do
Ingenue
I just don't know what to do
Ingenue (fade out)
The girl's simply gorgeous isn't she? The song which much speaks about my younger days. It plays in my head every single second that tick.
Yes, it was the past but memory remains. Appreciate it while it's there. Once it's gone, it will never be coming back.
